The 2017 National WWI Museum and Memorial Symposium will explore the revolutionary year of 1917.

With a focus on conscientious objection to the war, the symposium "Remembering Muted Voices" will be hosted at the National WWI Museum and Memorial Oct. 19-22, 2017.

At a recent presentation to encourage membership in the Pershing Legacy Society, Karen Herman shared a fascinating account of her father's involvement in World War I and the effect it had on him and his family.

The Museum and Memorial was excited to partner with The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History for a special week-long Teacher Seminar in July 16-22, 2017: World War I and Its Aftermath. 

The National WWI Museum and Memorial is honored to have had Mary Shaw Branton as one of the founding members of the Pershing Legacy Society for planned giving.

On Wednesday, May 3, donors and volunteers signed the first steel beam to be placed in the new Wylie Gallery at the National World War I Museum and Memorial.
