Image Requests
The Museum and Memorial can provide media organizations with images of the Museum and Memorial and objects from its collection upon request. Requests should be directed to Karis Erwin at 816.888.8122 or media@theworldwar.org.
Filming Requests
The Museum and Memorial receives frequent requests from individuals or production companies interested in commercial filming or conducting photos shoots in and around the Museum and Memorial. In all cases of filming and photo shoots, our goal is to make sure our visitor’s experience is not impacted and that no damage occurs to either the buildings or grounds.
If you are planning a photo shoot outside on the grounds of the Museum and Memorial and have a simple set up (hand-carried equipment, limited number of individuals), you can utilize the property any time our grounds are open. Donations for this type of photo shoot are appreciated and can be made here.
For commercial/large productions, the Museum and Memorial must evaluate each request on a case-by-case basis to determine feasibility and if fees will be charged. Contact Karis Erwin at 816.888.8122 or media@theworldwar.org.
Professional photo shoots and filming that takes place indoors within the Museum and Memorial must be coordinated through Karis Erwin at 816.888.8122 or media@theworldwar.org.
