The Research Level of the Museum will be closing to the public starting on May 31 until early 2023 for construction to create a dedicated open storage and learning space.
As part of the construction, the Edward Jones Research Center will close at 4 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2022. Though the Research Center will be closed throughout the project, our collections staff and volunteers will still be available to assist with your research needs. Research station computers are available for public use in the Museum lobby, our collections database is accessible online at collections.theworldwar.org and our directory of publicly-accessible World War I military service records will still be available online.
For additional research needs, we can assist you at research@theworldwar.org or 816.888.8142 during operating hours.
